The Battle of Pelennor Fields in 28mm

Wed Jul 31, 2013 4:05 am

Here is a game I played a few weeks ago...and it took me a few days to play.

For the rest of the game, and how I made it, you can find it here if you like.

It was a fun game...and took me a few days to clear the table. I had roughly 3500 minis on it...what you call Epic Battle. I play solo games but I used the rules from the WOTR rules.

Fabulous set-up and a true labour of love. Thanks for sharing. I particularly like the use of proxies and bringing in so many diverse elements to make one scenario.

Do you prefer solo or is it the only way that you can get to roll dice? For my part I hate having lots of models and terrain, but no opponents!

Gondolin is something that I've been wanting to try, as well. There's something about dragon hordes being driven by balrogs that appeals!

Well, I like solo gaming...I can game the same game for a long period of time, with no rush. But I also like playing against others when I have someone to play against. My wife only will play Star Wars or strip poker (haha). But I don't have too many friends...and I don't get out much. I do plan one day to go on a big gaming convention tour and play in games that way against others.
