Been Working on My orcs. Have the WotR book and need to get all my companies some leadership and order. So I repainted my Gorbag, and got out my drummer and whip master. would like to see other peoples Gorbag as I had nothing to go on for inspiration here, but tried.

I don't think I'm willing to show my gorbag after seeing yours. Besides, he's getting a makeover at the moment. I have said before on the old site, your painting is very good!

I think they're all really good, however I'm not sure what the blue thing is on Gorbags head, is it a vein? If yes then I think it's a bit exaggerated as they're not usually that incredibly noticeable.

I thought that was metal piercings (there was an article on the old site about painting rcs that included piercings) or war paint.

That is suposed to be War paint. I know he has some design on his face in the movie so I tried to make it from memory. should have found it in the film and studied. Like I said, had nothing to go on except small images in the rule books.

I think the warpaint goes from above his eye in a verticle srtipe downwards to about the middle of his cheek.

here are my old and new goblin shamans. painted the new on and had to fix up my old one. next I will get the prowlers done and that lame gobline shooting bats. may touch up some of my other old gobs and trolls while I am visiting moria before the plunge into a different army.

Fantastic! My only issue however is with the first one's base how it's got that 'ring' of static grass right around it, but that's not really anything to worry about.

I painted and based that Shaman ages ago (it seems). And was trying something new at the time with tiled board. anyway when I repainted this model I didnt fix the base. But I can work on converting a Goblin with a weed whacker and make a scene where the shaman is pointing out where to cut. Goblins being low on the evil spectrum I would guess they would be lawn workers. lol
