Thanks for posting these. My first impression is a mixture of brilliance and impatience. You color choices and creative idea's are very refreshing and the overall schemes are very well tied in through each model. and here and there the impatience shows (on some cloth and armour).

Cheers for your comments gents.

I touched on this while talking to Feanor. I often find it quite difficult to get the paint to the right consistency, so it comes out too boldly at times, and too thin at others. The armour, on the other hand, I would say is the negative result of too much patience, assuming you're talking about the way it often looks quite flat. I struggle with painting armour well at the best of times, and what can I say, purple armour is really rather challenging. At points, it looked fine, but I thought I could make it look better, and then I just ended up with a few too many layers, and the level of possible detail was reduced.

Thanks. I think he might be my favourite...

Love the warpaint especially on the Olyphant.

Cheers. I had quite a bit of fun with that. My sister saw the Mumak's warpaint in its early stages, and said it looked like Alice Cooper. Which is why I named her Alice, despite that rather masculine appendage between her back legs.

O My Goodness! Your painting just blew my mind!
That has to be the best painted Haldir I've ever seen.
And the Mumak! Wow! That... well... I am speechless. Great work!
Very original paint schemes. Keep up the fantastic work! :D

Now I want to repaint my Mumak :P I like the painting on the Elves as well, just not to keen on the war paint (although it looks awesome on the mumak)

Thanks for the compliments. And with regards to the warpaint, each to his own, I suppose!

Variety is the spice of life. :D Glad there are so many of us with different ways of painting and different concepts.
How did you paint the warpaint on Alice?
