broken legolas

Sat Feb 01, 2014 5:08 pm

hi everyone. I really need your help on this one.
i bought and painted the new legolas from the hobbit releases but his right dagger broke and i cant find the broken part anywhere. what could i do to fix this? there is nothing else similar to his daggers in any other model that i can think of. i've thought of cutting the tip of the spear of a warrior of minas tirith but it is too broad :(.
I could also replace the daggers entirely by having him wield an elven blade or something but i need something that fits to the pose.

I'dd really apreciate any help!

Do you have the Galadhrim Knights box? Comes with a loose elven blade and a right arm wielding one. Both could fit to replace those daggers.

Now giving him Orcrist if you own Thorin and gave him the Oakenshield would be quite interesting too :)

Other than that, I never had any succes replacing such small parts. The bubble of glue is somethimes bigger than the piece I want to fix :P
Middle-Earth Monster Mash - 4th (Mordor+Harad)
Middle-Earth Monster Mash II - 4th (Galadhrim)
Middle-Earth Monster Mash III - 2nd (Thorin's Company)
Middle-Earth Monster Mash IV - 7th (Minas Morgul)

Do you have any unused/ unwanted sword wielding figs lying around?

Warriors of the last alliance or something like that?

Cut off the hand with the sword and file down the sword to make it a dagger.

It will work with the plastics. But a Metal hand and sword would be better.
