They look like they're coming along nicely - and they've got eyes on them as  keep up the good work :P

Agreed! ..Kudos on the eyes, makes my painting look pretty rudimentary in skill!

I still need to clean up some of the bug eyed models, but that's a later step when I work on fine details. Two of my captains still have cataracts. :-)

yeah, i'm still working on getting eyes right, and i haven't really even tried doing pupils.

i've seen Hixont's models in person, and his painting does make almost everyone else's look rudimentary.

lucky for me, i'm used to it.

looking good hixont!

Thanks, it's all smoke and mirrors my friend. :P

A recommendation I've heard for painting the center of the eyes is to paint them as a line down the center and then cleaning up the edges. Supposedly this makes for good looking eyes. I lack the fine brush cntrol to make lines so I settle for dots and then clean up the edges. The Iris should be half covered by the eyelid the way I do eyes. Though it's easy to screw up which forces me to start all over again. On less patient days I settle for whatever I can get.

I managed to get the spears base painted by the end of March, but I only just got a camera onto them.

The Numenorean spears.

The spearmen look great. I really like how you did the red on Isildur's clothes. It's a very nice touch :D

Loving the fact your clearly dont do any half measures, painted the entire force all at once!
