Battle companies question

Sun Sep 13, 2015 4:15 pm

In the bc rules in referring to the items available for heroes to purchase, the rules state that heroes can purchase whatever items are available to their race. How does bc define race? Gondor, rohan, isengard? Or man, dwarf, elf, uruk?

It should be on the equipment list for the BC. But for the most part all the rulebooks state the race of each warrior/hero. For example if you have a Uruk scout, becomes a hero, he can buy heavy armor, Pike, Crossbow, shield... all those things in his race, could not buy a horse, or warg, or throwing spear or those things that are not available to his race.

Like Sith mentioned this is listed on each of the army/factions/race page in the BC rules.

So for an Uruk-hai hero, you would have to look on the Isengard page.
