Leaping

Can you leap across a walk way for example, if enemies are blocking where you want to land? or would they have to make way after your leap ?

I think you have to fight them, kind of like the rules for fights on ladders.

Check the heroic action section of the rule book and you will find....

  • Heroic Politeness: When leaping, any good hero may call a heroic 'excuse me' and ask nicely for their enemies to move out of the way. Roll one D6, on a score of 7 or higher they comply.

...doesn't feature in the rules for some reason.

We play that if you charge across a gap by leaping you must make a Heroic Move and take the leap test. If you pass that you fight as if crossing an obstacle and the defender gets the bonuses of defending a barrier. If you lose, you fall. If you win your strikes take "in the way" tests. If you fail to wound, you fall. Only if you win and inflict a wound does your opponent move back an inch.

If the defender has a shield and successfully "shields" then you fall.

Haha @MattShadowLord

The above post seems to complicate things quite a bit and isn't really the rules.

There has to be room for you to land in order to jump first. Control zones are still in effect if leaping or climbing.
